The Art of Eating Healthy

My Interest or should I say actual obsession with healthy food, nutrition and healthy living started back in 1985, when I was 16 years old with reading my first book on this subject, which was Fit for Life by Harvey and Marilyn Diamond.

I came across it at our local Library which was my local hangout, as I have always loved reading and still do. I remember reading and absolutely becoming enthralled with the concepts in the book. My parents bought it for me and I still have this book today at 51 years of age. I found it fascinating, and still do. Thus, this amazing journey began, for which I am truly grateful.

My collection of books, interest and knowledge has just grown exponentially over the years. Of course, access to Google and Amazon has made life so much easier in the quest for searching and researching.

In the beginning, I was mainly self-taught as I have had this passion for many years, really for as long as I can remember. My other favorite regular places, apart from my love of fashion, include Rodeo Drive or Sloane street, where you can usually find me researching and shopping.

Of course, on line I have a regular rendezvous with Matchesfashion, Net-a-Porter or Browns, Farfetch and Victoria Beckham. I must say though that I am equally as excited and can spend many enjoyable hours in Wholefoods in Los Angeles – I mean really 4 hours and go back sometimes 3 times a day – or any other amazing Health food store around the world for that matter.

These are some of my favorite places where I really become inspired and motivated. A beautifully packaged box from Matches arriving at my doorstep or a whole bunch of Raw Cacao products and Goji Berries is just as equally exciting for me. I have always been passionate about these things in my life.

After working in the field of Health and Nutrition for many years, and being my own Health Coach and alchemist, I decided to Study at the Institute of Integrative Nutrition New York and on the 11th of July 2017, I became a Certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach.

It had always been a passion of mine to do this course as I had heard so many amazing reviews and even though, I had been in the field for many years it was just such a lovely personal accomplishment for me which prepares me all the better to help others.

This is the lifestyle I embody every day of my life not because it is a trend or a fad, as in fact I was doing this way before it became trendy. This is a way of life and I can teach you how to benefit just as I did and continue to do so.
